A little about what TAL is:
TAL is a site for RPing. The definition of Roleplay is "To assume the attitudes, actions, and discourse of another object." A Role-Play on TAL starts as a thread created by one person. Another member, or multiple members, will join the thread using his or her own character.

Welcome to the shops of TAL.

First off, you will create a personal character inventory. Start a new thread in the "Personal Inventory" board, and name that thread "(Your Character's Name) Personal Inventory". You MUST keep this up-to-date. Every time you buy or lose an item, you must modify your post. Try to only keep it to one post in one thread. You can lose items in battles, it can be stolen, it can wear over time, it can be lost, it can be sold, or any other ways you can think of.

To sell an item, post a new thread in the board "Sales". As the subject, please put "(Your Character Name) would like to sell (Item wishing to sell. Put a one or two-worder here, keep it short). In that post (Out Of Character), you would say why you want to sell it, how much you believe it's worth, how long you have had it, and any harm done to it. After you ahve posted that, one of the staff will look over it and give back the amount of gold that they deem neccesary into your account.

Here you can buy almost everything you need for TAL RP. There is a certain way of doing this. I want you to create your own thread in the corresponding board. If you want a sword, post it in the "Forgery" board. If you want a set of armor, post it in the "Armory"board.

In that thread, you will post IN CHARACTER. It should look something like this:

IC: Character walked into the gloomy store. There was a musk feeling bout it, and something didn't feel right. However, he walked up to the counter to the grubby looking man. (The grubby looking man is the moderator for that board, the shopowner. He is the one who will take your money and give you the item.). The man was in old clothes that reeked of feces. He had a ratty beard and blue eyes. (It's nice if you give a short description of him. It doesn't have to be the same as anyone elses'). "Good day, sir, I would like to purchase an item. (Item will be your item). (the shopkeep would then reply with) "Okay then, what would you like". (this doesn't actually have to happen, you just assume it does.) "I would like a blahahahahahhafj" (Here is where you would describe your item.)

This will go back and forth until the shopkeep and the customer reach an agreement. From there, the staff will take away the set amount of gold from your profile.

You instantly have your item when we take the gold from your profile. IMPORTANT: Once you own the item, you MUST modify your inventory, and include that new item.
