A little about what TAL is:
TAL is a site for RPing. The definition of Roleplay is "To assume the attitudes, actions, and discourse of another object." A Role-Play on TAL starts as a thread created by one person. Another member, or multiple members, will join the thread using his or her own character.

Crowns on TAL

When you create a character, he begins with no weapons at all. Each post you make will earn you ten crowns to buy something in the shops of The Ancient Language. There are also ways to lose crowns, and those ways are through breaking the rules.

Along with 10 crowns per post, you gain bonus crowns when the staff deem it neccesary.

You may also take out a loan. A loan is simply a way to purchase a weapon when you do not have sufficient funds. You ask (in "The Bank" thread) to borrow crowns. Over time, you must pay back the crowns, else you will suffer a major penalty. There is no "intrest" charge.
