A little about what TAL is:
TAL is a site for RPing. The definition of Roleplay is "To assume the attitudes, actions, and discourse of another object." A Role-Play on TAL starts as a thread created by one person. Another member, or multiple members, will join the thread using his or her own character.

Cheers roared from the stands surrounding the pit. A simple bowl set into the ground. Dust blew across the dirt floor. A place of fame and glory. Spikes stuck out from the walls, and a few pillars stood, some still intact, others crumbled on the ground. A gate at either end from which the opponents would emegre. This is, The Arena.

The Arena. A place of fame, glory, and pain. This is were the fights really take place. Its located in a small settlement, near the middle of the Hadarac.

In this board you can sign up to battle it agianst your fellow members. Anything goes. Use any tricks you got up your sleeve. However, no power-playing or god-modding. This board is only for sighing up.

NOTE: Dueling to the death will not harm your character in the roleplaying at all! The duels that take place in the RPer's Guild are just for your own practice to improve your ability to write out a battle, nothing more, nothing less. Please do not be afraid to duel to the death with your characters in the Arena. =)

Requests: Some one who has had lots of training. Lilly improved heaps when she was in dragon rider training, so any average lout, will lose. Anyone who is 'the best in their village' or whatever will probably be beaten by a dragon rider. Not that i'm saying that Lilly is the best, its just that because she is a dragon rider, she has more skills and training than most. Maybe she should fight against an elf or something.
